work at 15 weeks pregnant! Yes it could!
I went to a Celine Dion Concert with my husband and well, its Vegas, I wanted to get out of my mom/workout clothes and be FANCY but I knew my dresses were not going to fit my 15 week baby bump.
So, I got this dress which helped adjust to the baby bump, yet allow it to flow. Nate said it was still hard to zip up! LOL, He knows by now to go with the flow with my fashions, even when I’m pregnant.
He even held my fabulous shoes as I walked the strip in flip-flops just so I can wear these fabulous pair of black heels, which are my favorite.
If you have ever been pregnant before (and are on your 3rd like me) you know the stages of fitting into your clothes (or NOT) and growing out of them. It looks something like:
First 12 Weeks: “Getting kinda tight this feels funny” I feel flabby and I don’t look pregnant yet. Maybe no one will notice my growing tummy so I’ll wear my big baggy workout shirts. Except my daughter who says, “MOM!!?? what is going on with your belly? Do you have a baby in there?!”
12-20 Weeks: I’m not sure what is going to fit anymore. My boobs are bigger, my belly is growing and I shouldn’t be wearing these tall heels anymore. (Which was me in the photo.) Try packing for 6 weeks for two different climates being at this stage.
20-25 Weeks: Ok, where are the MAXI dresses and swimsuits to just lounge around in? Maybe a pair of cute maternity shorts and yoga shirts.
Workout clothes it is! (Stay tuned for my favorite two in one shirts to wear while prego!)
25-30 Weeks: Where IS MY UNDERWEAR AT? Thats all I want to lay around in.
The Final thought? 30 Weeks on? I don’t care what I’m wearing, just GET this baby out of me!
Needless to say, this dress is a great one for that in between phase because it allowed room for the bump because it sits high on the waist and is flowy below it. I did have pads sewn in this dress for the bra.
Ladies this dress is one of my favorites and I am excited to wear it over and over again!
