Finally my favorite that you can use all year long and it’s a win win for you and your kids! Tokens! I am all about finding things to be beneficial that is actual of value for gifts instead of plastic stuff that will end up in the trash in a few days. Give the kids what they REALLY want. Time with parents, pizza/movie night. extra snacks, staying up later and more play time. These darling tokens they can turn in. You can reuse these to! Even better. You can use these as a behavior training incentive throughout the year. They can draw their hand in a jar and pick one when accomplishing a behavior goal. These ones are cute because you have the option to customize for your kids wants.
Crate and Barrel has this all natural coloring kit that is super cute if you want to dye eggs this is a great option.

Lastly I want to know about you. If you did hunt easter eggs when younger did how did it go? I don’t remember hunting plastic eggs with stuff inside. We hunted the REAL thing. Colored hard boiled eggs and ate those! LOL Is this a “newer” thing in the last 20 years?
