I love smoothies but sometimes I need something more than a smoothie so I make a smoothie bowl!
Here is how I make my Dragon Fruit (Pitaya) bowl.
The Dragon Fruit is super healthy for you. It is loaded with nutirents, helps the gut with prebiotics, strengthens immune system and is PINK! Who doesn’t want to eat a pink fruit?
I get my Dragon fruit in the frozen fruit section of Sprouts or Albertsons. I looks like this.
Blend up all your ingredients in a great blender first like below. It’s super important to make sure its really thick. You may want to add ice or frozen banana or strawberries to add to the texture and coldness. Or you can simply put it in the freezer for 20 min as well.
I use coconut milk in a can and coconut water and coconut butter like this.
Here is what I use for the toppings.
If the smoothie is too thin add ice or put in freezer for 20 minutes.
